The Digital Literacy Program strengthens ICT adoption among women in both the formal and informal sectors. The program focuses on practical digital skills that support business growth, income stability, and participation in the digital economy.
The initiative is delivered by Women in Technology Uganda through the Uganda Communications Universal Service and Access Fund.
Program Focus: The program equips women, especially those in the informal sector, with skills to use mobile phones and digital tools for business operations, marketing, and financial transactions. Digital skills strengthen confidence, self-esteem, and economic independence.
Geographic Reach: The program has been implemented in 32 districts across Uganda.
